Good Gaming Board
Strengths:  In EA Games the X-FI Sound Card no longer crashes. SLI 2.0 really helps the benchmarking. Fits my oversized Coolermaster CPU Fan
Weaknesses:  PCI-E ports way too close to run higher end gaming cards. causes some overheating even with good ventilation.
Review:  I was having lots of trouble with BF2142 and the P5N-E SLI board and the Creative X-FI Sound Card. This board has ran great for a couple weeks now and not one sound crash. Not sure if it is specific to this board but the PCI-E slots are too close to run multiple cards even in my full tower with 120MM fans. All in All I am impressed with the board.

Strengths:  has 3 pci - express 16x slots you can go up to 32GB of memory
Weaknesses:  the technology atm you cant realy put 32GB memory w/ only 4 slots.

Strengths:  6 Channels of SATA, RAID, Lots a' Slots, Stable well laid out, fast.
Weaknesses:  BIOS sucks, BIOS automatically moving new drives to 1st boot device. Did I mention crappy BIOS

Strengths:  In this board, there is no fan so there is no noise.
Weaknesses:  Some kinds of ram is not working in this board. You should update bios (0304 version from 0102 version through ASUS Update utility).
Review:  This is really good mainboard especially for AM2 socket and very stable mainboard. But the price is high but the price is reasonable. You should update the bios for the ram otherwise you should use only 1 ram

Strengths:  LCD readout; good design; easy installation; Q-connector a nice bonus
Weaknesses:  Price has not gone down over past year, making this motherboard a bit more costly than some of its peers
Review:  Had a tough decision to purchase this mo-bo since it was still $230. However, had no problems whatsoever when booting up for the first time and with updating the BIOS. Credit the built in cooling system for helping to keep my Athlon 6400+ at a reasonable temperature with the stock fan/heatsink combination. Q-connector was pretty handy and made the installation slightly easier. Not a no-braine...

Strengths:  Lots of features for the price including SLI , Quad core 1333 bus , overclocking , two IDE channels for those of us running more than one CD/DVD ROM ...
Weaknesses:  Bios abit buggy with newer E6420/E6320 , but beta bios cured the problem . Lack of XP x64 driver disk for RAID0 .
Review:  Since this is new mobo/chipset there is always a few first quirks till drivers and bios are updated . All in all , so far a nice board that runs stable even with XP x64 . One of these days I'll re-try the RAID0 again , but for now the system runs fast without . Weaknesses:  Limited usb on board, same with firewire. One each. Total eight USB. Limited extras. Instuctions flawed Tech said issue reolved with latter edition.

Weaknesses:  Very picky on the memory modules used. Only one IDE channel.
Review:  Overall the board is good, but be VERY wary about the DDR2 memory modules you purchase for this board. Only purchase modules that are ASUS approved (see their website), or you'll find that they may not work.
